Request Lines Open: 2/11/2011 "Open Format" Show

There will be no specific theme this week. We are open to your requests for songs from across the broad spectrum of oldies and classic rock from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. Something from the 80's? We'll think about it.

You no longer need to have a Google or OpenID account in order to comment. Take out your frustration with the world by making your requests below!

    Paul, your requests just inspired me to read up on ? & the Mysterians. Get this:

    "Eccentric frontman Question Mark (actually spelled "?," once he had his name legally changed) cultivated an aura of mystery by never appearing in public without a pair of wraparound sunglasses; he frequently claimed he had been born on Mars and lived among the dinosaurs in a past life, and that voices from the future had revealed he would be performing "96 Tears" in the year 10,000."

    Born on Mars?! If we'd known this sooner, we could have played ? on last week's Space episode...

    "96 Tears" is a great song that I do not have in my collection. I esp. like at the end when he keeps repeating "96 Tears" but with falsetto on the "Tears".
