For the second time in Rock Show history, we'll be presenting an "all cover songs" episode this evening at 7 PM. To help you get into the spirit, here's NFL legend Terry Bradshaw covering Hank Williams' stone-cold classic, "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry." To borrow a phrase from one of the YouTube commenters, prepare to get "Susan Boyled"...
Bob Dylan? I figured it would be someone like Herman's Hermits...
ReplyDeleteBESIDES Herman's Hermits. Bob Dylan is the most covered artist within the Rock Show genre besides Herman's Hermits...
ReplyDeletePaul, did you happen to check out that Terry Bradshaw clip?
ReplyDeleteYeah. What is that?!
ReplyDeleteI know, right?! I went into it totally expecting the worst. Little did I know that he had a voice. Apparently he actually commercially released a cover of that song in 1976 that cracked the Billboard Hot 100.
ReplyDeleteBilly Idol is riding this groove, dudes.
ReplyDeleteBilly actually rode a pony while recording the vocals.
ReplyDeleteI refresh the comments over and over again!! You were just talking about me! On the internet radio!
ReplyDeleteSteve Jobs is apparently no longer alive. And since you play music via Ipod on Rock Show, I feel like we should mention it here.
ReplyDeleteWHAAAAHH?
