  8. Are you sure that last request isn't for Cinnamon Girl? Because that is what they'll play.

  9. But speaking of covers off that Neil Young album...how about Down By The River by Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds (from Live at Radio City Music Hall album)?

  10. Ooooo....could this be the loophole for a certain band to make the show?!? I'm pretty sure this certain band did a cover of a 1973 Slade classic: Cum On Feel The Noize. That band: Oasis!!!!

  11. I think someone told me once that the Beatles may have done a couple covers. If only I had a list of 20 of them, with the original artist. But alas, there can't be an internet radio show/blog that would tell me that sort of information.
(On a side note, I just found the wikipedia page for that. Would have been useful for me to google that LAST week instead of today.)

Since I don't really have an actual request, I guess I'll stop now.

  12. Paul checking in. Soon to be joined by frozen burritos and either a Sam Adams Noble Pils or some lemonade with vodka.

  13. Just had Noble Pils last night for the first time at TCB! So good.

What's that? Was it as good as Billy Idol covering Simple Minds? Let's not get carried away...

    ROCK SHOW!

  19. axe, what do you think about Tiger and Freddy making a run today? Ann, I assume you're going to the ladies football thing? Mike, are we getting a Manny being Manny tribute tonight?

  20. Ann said is this just last week's show replayed with the Beatles block

  21. Yeah - is this Rock Show or Beatles Show? At least play Yesterday by Boys II Men. LOL

  22. I am really loving Freddy coming up. He will probably throw his back out and fade. Don't really care about Tiger. Phil doesn't look like it's his year

  23. The only difference is that -- unlike last week -- I successfully remembered to plug in the laptop, so we WILL have a recording of this episode preserved for the ages!

  24. I think it would be cool if Rory holds it coast to coast...

  25. I doubt Mike is up-to-speed on Manny.

  26. Clake - that was borderline not family friendly. Ha! I would have been frightened to hear what your excitement about Bowie covering the Beatles would have sounded like
